A little friend

A famous phrase says the dog is man's best friend, besides being a loyal friend, the most loyal friend you will be have, it's the kind of company you keep if you need to be heard, when you feel so bad and you don't know where to run, you can always count with your dog. 

Obviously your dog won't tell you what to do, he only pay attention and stay with you, he won't judge you, he won't insult you, he won't criticize you, as many people do. 

Maybe for a lot of people this is not a hard situation, but if you ever had a dog, you will understand and you'll know how painful is his death. 

A few months ago, my best friend Rocky a little pitbull died. 

At the beginning when Rocky came to my life, I thought that he will be an uncomfortable situation, because I live in an small department, I don't have enough time, and with all the activities I have to attend, and now this, to have a dog and specially this kind of dog breed that needs constant exercise, how would that be possible?....

Well it was possible. 

Since the moment, Rocky started living with me, and following the advice of one of my best friends, he told me that I had to provide a decent life, not for being an animal he doesn't had this right; where not only pay attention to my needs and leaving aside selfishness, and I will see how funny  is to have a pet. 

It's no easy to change your routine, but I should do it; I started waking up earlier to take Rocky for a walk, it wasn't hard to adjust, because if I didn't, I would find a very nasty surprise in the room. 

I pay a trainer, and Rocky learned to be cleaner, 

learned to be more clean, so the  unpleasant surprises stopped being common.  

And at the month I was in love with my dog, I learn many many things from Rocky. 

One day he started feeling bad, he started losing the appetite, he doesn't want to go out anymore,  so I went to visit the vet, and he told me the diagnostic, cancer critical cancer, and it was not operable because it was very advanced degree, the best thing was for him to sleep; I could not believe I hurt a lot but I didn't want to see my best friend dying this way, not my egotism could prolong his life.

I said goodbye to him, he looked at me with her eyes as if to say, you cure me; but there was more to do.

I could not sleep that night, nor the next, nor the next, and not know how many more; I just thought that was a few hours ago he was with me and he became part of my life, and now he's gone. 

My recovery, good, I won't lie, I still miss him an he always have a special place in my heart, always will be my first dog and my canine best friend I ever had.

If you've never had a dog, I doubt I feel it is them and you fall in love with small details, as they slowly coming into your heart and your love and how difficult it is to have to endure earn his death.
